As the family unravels under the stress and more bodies drop, Philadelphia Homicide Detective Valentina Perez and her partner Detective Alan Reis search for clues as they follow the breadcrumbs left throughout each episode while an intelligent youth and his friends kick off their own campaign to uncover his family’s secrets.

This fast-paced psychological thriller novella tells the story of 55-year old retired Philadelphia Firefighter Frank “Cheesesteak” Moran. In his retirement he lives a simple and quiet life. Nowadays he drives for a ridesharing service during the day to make extra fun money. He started his day just like any other, he saw his wife off to work, stopped at his regular Wawa, and went to work.
What started out as a normal Tuesday in Philadelphia quickly spirals into a terrifying ordeal when he picks up an unstable and unpredictable fare with plans to commit a domestic terror attack and is taken hostage. He is forced into a match of wits with his captor as he is forced to drive around Philly while the young and embattled man gets his affairs in order. Frank has to rely on his charm and experience against a man with a bag full of weapons, explosives, and the biggest threat of all; The bomb under his drivers seat.
